On Hecke L-functions attached to half-integral weight modular forms
We would like to recall that in the case of Hecke eigenforms on Γ1 non-vanishing results for their Hecke L-functions at an arbitrary point s0 in the critical strip (not on the critical line) have been proved in [4] (cf. also [7]), using holomorphic kernel functions. This method was carried over to the case of half-integral weight in [8], for arbitrary level. However, in this approach for given ...
متن کاملAlgebraic Twists of Modular Forms and Hecke Orbits
We consider the question of the correlation of Fourier coefficients of modular forms with functions of algebraic origin. We establish the absence of correlation in considerable generality (with a power saving of Burgess type) and a corresponding equidistribution property for twisted Hecke orbits. This is done by exploiting the amplification method and the Riemann Hypothesis over finite fields, ...
متن کاملGraded Prime Ideals Attached to a Group Graded Module
Let $G$ be a finitely generated abelian group and $M$ be a $G$-graded $A$-module. In general, $G$-associated prime ideals to $M$ may not exist. In this paper, we introduce the concept of $G$-attached prime ideals to $M$ as a generalization of $G$-associated prime ideals which gives a connection between certain $G$-prime ideals and $G$-graded modules over a (not necessarily $G$-graded Noetherian...
متن کاملthe aesthetic dimension of howard barkers art: a frankfurtian approach to scenes from an execution and no end of blame
Some non-Gorenstein Hecke algebras attached to spaces of modular forms
In this paper we exhibit some examples of non-Gorenstein Hecke algebras, and hence some modular forms for which mod 2 multiplicity one does not hold. Define S2(Γ0(N)) to be the space of classical cuspidal modular forms of weight 2, level N , and trivial character. The Hecke algebra TN is defined to be the subring of End(S2(Γ0(N)) generated by the Hecke operators {Tp : p 6 |N} and {Uq : q|N}. Le...
